The House of Representatives has requested the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and the Director-General of the State Security Services, Yusuf Magaji Bichi to quickly close down the Edo State House of Assembly following the waiting emergency in the state House of Assembly.
Two groups inside the state House of Assembly have risen, both making a case for specialist in the Assembly. While one group is lotal to the state representative, Godwin Obaseki, the other group is said to be faithful to previous legislative head of the state, Adams Oshiomole.

"The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and the Director-General (DG), Department of State Service should close down the Edo State House of Assembly and give satisfactory security to mollify further feelings of dread of terrorizing and danger as claimed by Members-choose," the House suggestions read.
