President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday said it would been lamentable for the decision All Progressives Congress, APC, in the event that it had lost the politically vital states, of Kano and Plateau at the Supreme Court.
President Buhari expressed this in his salutary message to the APC over the Supreme Court judgment that maintained the appointment of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Kano State and Governor Simon Lalong, Plateau State.
The President congratulated with APC National Executive Council, National Working Committee and all individuals for the steadfastness and consistency that converted into numerous triumphs, especially the politically key states, Kano and Plateau, after extreme lawful difficulties.
Buhari said:-
"I am happy this convoluted excursion hosts finished for the gathering and our governors.
APC won the states and has demonstrated it in court. It would have been a significant blow if deliberately significant states like Kano and Plateau are lost."
While praising all the APC governors that the Supreme Court attested their decisions, President Buhari asked electorates and legislators to fortify the nation's legal procedures by continually looking for review in court.
"It has now become standard methodology for the resistance to challenge any survey or judgment that doesn't restore its applicants.
"Political race is acceptable when they win. The inverse is the situation on the off chance that another person develops.
Yet, that isn't the manner in which it works. Majority rule government isn't just about who wins or who loses, yet in addition about the procedure.
"In demonizing each negative outcome or judgment, they defame the whole framework," Buhari in an announcement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu.
