Primate Elijah Ayodele, the head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has slammed Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, as a representative of the dreaded Taliban and said that his words could start a religious war in Nigeria.
During a tirade against El-Rufai on Thursday for his recent remarks about Christians and his support for Muslims in the State, the religious leader made the submission. Portraying the previous lead representative's comment as coldhearted, Ayodele through a proclamation by his media helper, Oluwatosin Osho, said: " El-Rufai is evil and cannot be trusted. The political decision in Kaduna was manipulated in his applicant's approval and God will take it back from him.
“Why is he making fun of Christians, and how is he able to make such an insensitive statement? He represents the Taliban in Nigeria and is a religious hypocrite.
We want a peaceful nation, but El-Rufai's statement is unacceptable. El-Rufai is a threat to national peace. He is to blame for the current crisis in Southern Kaduna.
"El Rufai is a specialist of satan, and God will before long uncover his arrangements. He failed in Kaduna, but the real winner will retake office. We should ascend against his shrewd plan. He is an ethnic and religious racist. Naturally, Nigeria will soon experience the consequences because he is one of the foundations of the Muslim-Muslim presidency there.
