In a military base in Lagos, a Nigerian female air force officer commits suicide.

 











Master Warrant Officer George, a female member of the Nigerian Air Force stationed with the 651 Base Services Group, was discovered deceased on Sunday.



According to reports, the Air Force employee hanged herself in her room at around 1400 hours on June 10, 2023. She was discovered unresponsive at her home in Block T5 Flat 8 at Sam Ethnan Air Force Base Ikeja, Lagos.

She reportedly had three Air Provosts pronounce her dead before another team of troops arrived to transport her remains to the 661 Nigerian Air Force Hospital.

According to a military signal that SaharaReporters was able to receive,

"Master Warrant Officer George, a female Nigerian Air Force employee assigned to the 651 Base Services Group and living in Block T5 Flat 8 at Sam Ethnan Air Force Base Ikeja, was reported to have committed suicide inside her room at around 1400 on June 10 23. Three Air Provosts are making efforts to get her to 661NAFH while the investigation continues.
