David Coote, an English referee, has been banned by UEFA until June 30, 2026.
This was confirmed on Friday by the governing body of European football.
The referees body for English football sacked Coote in December after a video clip of him making derogatory remarks about former Liverpool manager Jรผrgen Klopp appeared on social media.
Following the revelation of another video purporting to show Coote sniffing white substance during Euro 2024, UEFA also opened an investigation into the player.
Coote was suspended from all UEFA officiating activities, according to the most recent rulings released by the organization's control, ethics, and disciplinary authority.
The official was suspended for putting "the sport of football, and UEFA in particular, into disrepute" and for breaking the "fundamental norms of good conduct."
